TYPICAL SOPHOMORE SCHEDULE
Bible: Worldview II – Hermeneutics
English: European Literature
History: European History
Foreign Lang: Spanish II -or- French II (2-credits same language required)
Math: Algebra II
Science: Chemistry (cannot be taken for dual credit as a sophomore – must be a junior)
Fine Arts: ( 2-Fine Arts credits required for Honors Diploma )
Electives: ( 4-General electives required for Honors Diploma )
Summer Courses, Optional (if taken all classes would count towards graduation requirements)
Fine Arts: Art History (0.5 credit)
Fine Arts: Music History (0.5 credit)
Toward the middle of the year sophomores may sign-up through FCA, subject to availability, to take the PSAT /NMSQT as practice for their junior year. Tests taken as a sophomore do NOT qualify for the National Merit® Scholarship Programs.
Sophomores should plan on taking the ACT in April. This will be needed in order to take dual-credit courses their Junior year.
In the Spring, during Mini-Mester, sophomores will be given the ITBS.
