Giving Students the Tools of Learning for Life

FCA is home to 8 National Merit Scholars

Welcome to FCA

Faith Christian Academy is a private classical Christian school in Kansas City, MO. We are an academic institution committed to historic, biblical Christian education, teaching students how to learn and think for themselves. Our mission is to glorify God by serving parents in providing their children with a distinctly Christian, academically excellent private education. By utilizing a proven classical method of instruction, we equip students with the academic "tools" for life-long learning. At Faith Christian Academy, all students will be taught to think critically, reason clearly, and communicate effectively from a Christian worldview. Students are on-campus M-W-F for classroom instruction and spend T-Th at home with parents for study and research.

Classical Method

Classical Education is an education guided by the seven liberal arts which are divided into two broad areas of study – the Language and Mathematical Arts. The three Language Arts are called the Trivium, and the four Mathematical Disciplines are known as the Quadrivium.

Christian Education

Instruction at FCA acknowledges that all life, knowledge, & meaning extend from our Creator. Our Christ-centered curriculum integrates the Scriptures throughout each subject.

Parent Involvement

FCA students attend class Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays on campus. Tuesdays and Thursdays they complete assigned homework, study, and research with parent supervision.

Athletic Programs

We provide an opportunity for FCA and home school students to participate in organized, competitive athletics and to use that competition to teach our Christian-based “Champions of Character” princples. The FCA Knights is a member of the Metro Christian Athletic Association.

Homeschool Families

Faith Christian Academy holds the utmost respect for homeschooling families and has a strong desire to support home educators in the Kansas City area in the endeavor to provide their children with an academically excellent, well-rounded, Christ-centered education.
